Mythology of Kashi

Varanasi is not only a city. It is a whole yantra where it is believed that God Shiv created it with his fully beloved desire to live here. This is the city that embodies temples of all 12 Jyotirlings, 10 Mahavidya, 8 Matrica, 56 Vinayaks, 8 Bhiarav, and many of Yaksha, Kinnar and large serpents. So the all-time favourite city of god Shiv is Kashi. This is the city surrounded by more than 88000 shivlings and many of them below the earth’s crust since this city never gets destroyed.
